It has been two long hours. Two long hours since we heard the news that Laurel had gone missing on her way to church.

Her mother, Helen, and Mira were left stranded in the nearby bush where we found them and even till now, there's been no information about Laurel or Lorenzo's whereabouts.

I should have known. Hell, Khalil even tried to warn me. But me being a selfish bastard wanted Laurel so badly for myself and now, her life is in danger because of me.

"Here," Camilla handed a glass of water over to Mira who was still shaking in Lavinia's arms. Helen has been crying nonstop, blaming herself for what happened to her daughter despite the pleads from Mrs Cooper and Mrs Kingston, saying she was not to be blamed.
