"Langley!" someone called me.

I then realized and was lucky I could still control myself.

“Brother Quinn,” I greeted back.

"I knew I could find you here," Quinn said.

"Is there something?" I asked.

“No,” Quinn said, “I was just worried about you. We haven't had time to talk about what's happened to you lately."

"Can we talk at a more suitable place?" I offer.

"Yes," replied Quinn.

The two of us walked down the street until we found a classic cafe on the edge of Marina Bay. We sat down and ordered some beers.

“Listen, Langley,” Quinn began, “you can still step back and start living as usual. All of this seems to be getting more and more dangerous.”

"I don't know, Brother Quinn," I said, sipping a cold beer. "On the one hand, I'm getting fed up with everything that's happened to me. But on the other hand, I want to continue.”
