Chapter thirteen.

Ivy's pov.

"I can't even take my eyes off you for a second." Emilliano complains as I walk out of the bathroom, changed into new, clean clothes.

I bow my head, saying softly. "I am sorry."

"You are sorry? Is that the only thing you know how to do?" I hear him scowl. "Apologize?"

"I am sorry."

"I already said to stop it." Emilliano growls, and I flinch back.

What did I do wrong now?

Emilliano sigh. I glance up and see that he is ruffling his hair.

And when his eyes move toward me, I quickly hide my gaze. Sulking.

"I will ask you again. Last night, did Veronica say something to you?" He stares down on me, his voice calm.

I shift on my foot, nodding stiffly.

"And the bruise on your wrist?" He breathes out roughly.

I rub on the spot that has now turned purple. Muttering. "She grabbed my wrist and pushed me to the wall."

"Why didn't you say anything?"

"Because she is your woman."

"Who says she is my woman?" He snarls.

But I saw them kissing so, "She is."

"She is not."

"She is."

"She is not
