Tomorrow is Aldrich's birthday so his mother and Deliah were planning to give him a surprise. After having dinner Aldrich went to his study and they knew he will not come out till midnight so they got a good chance to prepare everything.
I asked them if they need my help but they straightforwardly declined. I felt really bad and stood aside as I didn't want to spoil the mood of anyone. After all, they were doing all this for Aldrich.
They were busy with decoration while I was standing at the side. My heart was clenching at the thought that Aldrich's mother is not ready to accept me when I haven't done anything to her. But I try to avoid arguments as much as possible because negative thoughts could affect my baby.
