Chapter 66: The Fall

Faye seemed to be excited about it. We were already done arranging the wine glasses. I do hope I didn't miss to touch one. Now, it's time for the great show.

Amaris clunk the glasses with a spoon to grab everyone's attention. The noise started to subside as they approached the scheming prince. "I just wanted to be thankful to this friend," he pulled someone from the crowd, " who invited me to come to this magnificent gathering! I am pleased to get along with this clan. My mother has been so busy looking for the chosen one and has no time to hold a feast for his only son. But I'm glad this friend brought me here and I'm able to get drunk with everyone today." He paused and opened two bottles of wine and poured it on the top of the champagne fountain we've made. He emptied the bottles and it filled all the glasses from top to bottom.

"Please have this drink as my gratitude for welcoming me here." He continued.

It was a bit quiet and I wondered if I should clap first. I was relieved when
