Lorraine and Sebastian talk.
They talk a lot. It's like a daily chore for her now, to talk with him for hours. Because he's so... attractive. He's that guy she imagines who's elegant and sophisticated but wild and crazy at the same time.
He's the guy she fantasizes about midnight driving in a Ferrari. Then stopping at the Hollywood hills to watch LA gleaming along with a bottle of beer and much laughter. Yes, they had decided on that too over their one of many late-night calls.
She's even met the rest of his group on face timing a couple of times.
Bad days are the ones when she can't talk to him due to her late-night shifts, same goes for him.
Today, she was exhausted. She was still on the set, it was noon and the heat was really going to be the death of her.
Lorraine was spoilt by her own money, and she worked her ass off to earn it. This day was the hardest day of her life, and this movie was the most challenging movie of her career.
There was just so much going around, the whole crew was restless, rustling here and there while she was gathering herself up to perform a stunt. Nothing new, same old, she'd jump off from eight feet set up with cords attached to her back.
Everyone was hurrying, someone in the mid of the rustling told her that was the camera was ready and she had to do the shot now. Some people adjusted the chords around her back.
"Comfortable?" The person, tightening the cords. Lorraine was never comfortable with those things but she nodded nonetheless.
"And...Action!"
She jumped from the height she was perched on, doing front-tuck mid-air but something was wrong. During the front tuck, the chords had tangled and before she knew, one of the chords was tearing away. She didn't even have the time to shriek before she fell slightly in front of the mattress down there.
Everything was hazy for a moment and there was a throbbing sensation on the bone of her eyebrow. People were running and yelling, someone came and made her sit, pressing her back against something.
"Call the ambulance!" There was Antoinette's distant voice.
Her hand automatically went to her forehead to soothe the pain, when she touched it with the back of her hand, there was blood. She winced at the burn her fingers had caused. She could feel the blood making a line from where her head was injured down her cheek and neck.
"Are you alright? Someone bring some cotton."
Lorraine nodded and someone handed her a water bottle.
Someone forced her to drink some water, someone fanned her even though she didn't need it. Someone wrapped a freaking towel around her for no reason.
She let out a shaky breath, hissing.
"It's fine, it's fine..the ambulance is coming."
Lorraine nodded and took the cotton ball from him, trying to clean the blood as lightly as she could.
She didn't know how long it took for the ambulance to come, after that everything passed in a haze. The stitches and all and now she was sitting on the hospital bed she was admitted in for a day.
She was bored, her injury didn't hurt for now. She got five stitches. Her assistant had gone to bring her 'exquisite cuisine', her assistant's words, not hers.
Lorraine was high maintenance, but she pampered herself with her own money so what was the problem. She was boujee.
Now she was bored. So she decided to call Sebastian, silently wishing he'd be free because he usually picked up in a half died state, she could say she did the same.
She video called him and he picked it up after a few rings. She couldn't see her at first because he was wiping his face with a towel, when he finally put the towel away, her breath hitched.
He was flushed all over and his pale skin was glazed with a thin layer of sweat, his hair was a mess as well. He was wearing a white t-shirt, she couldn't see the rest of it.
"I'm exhausted." He let out, exhaling a huge breath before drinking water from a bottle. She tried to ignore how his lips deliciously wrapped around the bottle.
He chuckled breathlessly at her, "I- wait what happened there? On your forehead?"
"I fell from some height during the shoot. The chords loosened while performing a stunt. Guess who's on break."
Sebastian analyzed her for a moment through the phone then spoke with a playful smirk. "You're enjoying it, aren't you? You got a break because of the injury."
She giggled. "I am."
He chuckled, "take care of that."
They had a staring contest on the phone before Sebastian broke into a snort. "I still can't believe you're like this. I had a completely different perception about you the first night we met."
"What were your perception about me, Mr Phoenix?"
"The first night?" He laughed. "Hazy thoughts of steamy scenes..."
"That's from the second day!" She pointed while laughing along with him. "The first night."
He thought for a while before he spoke, "I was entirely enchanted. I still am." He gave a sheepish, almost shy smile before continuing. "You know what your aura holds, Lorraine, so I wouldn't describe it. Just know you were born to do what you're doing. It shows how much it runs through you."
She tried to hide her smile by looking down. He was talking about acting, about being a celebrity. And it hit because it was all she had ever had.
"Thank you." She replied wittily. He smiled sincerely.
There was some rustling from his side and it was then she realised that he was gym before he looked over at her. "Hey, I need to go now. My assistant is calling."
"Bye." She said before the call ended.
He was right. The way he describes her is as if he's trying to read her, and to be honest, he was. There were many personas Lorraine could wear, she got paid for that.
But there were many, many things Sebastian had to learn and she didn't want him to learn those.
There it was, the small sense of fear brewing in her chest. Sebastian was enchanting, she didn't wanna leave him anytime soon. But he was just getting closer and closer to her.
He didn't know how she acted when she felt at threat. He didn't know what made her feel at threat. He didn't know she was fucked up, literally.
Hello! Hope you enjoy my story 💕
Sebastian was in the recording studio, having a run in with his producer about how the drop beat of the title track of their upcoming album wasn't ear catching enough when his phone rung in the pocket of his jeans. His attention averted there, he told the producer to excuse him before seeing the collar ID. He immediately swiped the answer button. "Lorraine, just a second." He quickly muttered, muting the call and standing up from his chair."You two seem to be getting really close?" His manager commented."None," Sebastian pointed at his manager, glaring at him with raised eyebrows. "Of your business."Sebastian quickly piped before running off to outside of the studio to have some privacy. He checked if any cameras were rolling and sighed in relief when there weren't. He answered the call."You were saying–?""No, no, Iv
Lorraine stepped into the luxury Ana had booked in Las Vegas. Her friends, or should she say 'party friends' along with her reached here safely and Sebastian came an hour later than them.To her surprise, his look was changed from the last time she saw him. Her hair were dyed silver now and was wearing casuals. It was hilarious how hard he was trying to not get noticed. Thankfully, he reached to the hotel unnoticed. She had insisted her friends to take him with them because she wanted to see him badly, Duh.Not that they didn't want to tag him along, the last time he had came there was a blast to the party. They had all enjoyed his company and all but there was this feeling to Lorraine, she felt jittery all over. She dozed off in his thoughts, it was happening quite a lot these days. He was contagious. In a healthy way or not, she didn't know.Sure he'd be less toxic than me.
Lorraine's heels clicked the floor in perfect tuts as she legged through the deserted corridor, her skin prickling hot because she knew he was analysing her body from behind with that drowning gaze of his. She turned around to look at him, eyes sultry and heavy from the alcohol as she opened the door of the last gate of the corridor with her key card in one swift swipe. It was something addicting in the way he caught her lips. Sebastian's lips tasted of champagne and Lorraine grazed her tongue ever so lightly to savour it, her nails digging into his nape as he held her firmly against himself, pushing her on the wall and increasing the pace of his lips. Lorraine's reflex was instant when she gripped his shoulders and switched the positions, making Sebastian lean against the wall. This was the thing about Lorraine, one of the first things that caught Sebastian's eyes, while most women wanted Sebastian to take the
The next morning, Lorraine had a major hungover. Her head thumped with migraine and she felt jittery all over. Nauseous in the worst way possible as she refused to get out of the bed.She groaned when someone knocked on the door, burying herself deeper into the sheets. She didn't sit up until the the person knocked for the third time on the door. She was a wild mess, her hair was frizzy and her fans just won't believe it was the same person who was always so glammed up."Lorraine, are you there?"Her heart started beating rapidly, almost as if it would jump out of her chest by just his voice. By just the fact that he was near, her breathing decreased, skin crawling in fear. This was pathetic to such extremes, she hated feeling so helpless. But she just blankly stared ahead of her, not responding.Sebastian kept knocking without getting an answer, feeling like the most ignored person of the
The blood pounded in herears. Her heart thudded in her chest. Her hands shook. Her feet tingled. Her vision was disfigured as if she were looking through a fish-eye lens. She had to get away from her mind.Woken up with monstrous voices screaming and dominating her in sleep, Lorraine was freaking out.She couldn’t process what and why this was happening to her. You see Lorraine Acker was crazy, quite factually so. She couldn’t hear it anymore, even after waking up the voices haven't stopped. We love you, Lorraine. You'll keep your mouth shut, wouldn't you?No one's listening girl! They've been fed hush money! Shut your damn mouth or your life will be a living h
It was another day for Sebastian, his brothers and him were gathered up in recording studio, ready to record the song. The atmosphere was tense, it had was nothing out of the normal now.Sebastian knew he was the main reason for the whole pressing silence, but he didn't care to cede it.The recording started, it was going well. Sebastian covered up his part smoothly, they had quiet discussions about overlapping sounds and all. It wasn't much, really. That was until Xander broke the silence to start a conversation with Sebastian. He didn't know why his little brother thought it was a good idea to talk to him."How was your little trip to Vegas?""Good." Sebastian grumbled."Did you get some...?" Xander asked, a knowing smirk on his face as he pointed at Sebastian's crotch with his eyes.Sebastian groaned, cringing from inside."No
Scandalous. That's how Lorraine felt right now, sitting behind Sebastian on his Harley while he rode the bike through the highway, her hair wooshing by the cold wind as her arms wrapped around his waist. After that morning when she had the panic attack, her assistant was quick to take her back to LA. Lorraine didn't really remember stuff from the call that took place with her and Sebastian so she was surprised when after two days, Sebastian had shown up at her house with a helmet and a leather jacket on."How'd you get in here?" Lorraine asked once he removed his helmet to ruffle back his blonde hair."Your guard is my fan." He grinned."Come on." He had said. "Let's sneak out.""Right now?""If I can dare, I'm sure you can too."That's how she had ended up here, sitting behind him as he drove off the highway, raptured by the blis
Taking in the heat of the hot coffee mug in her hands, Lorraine inhaled the scent of the freshly cut green grass. She was sitting in her front yard on the plush sofa placed there, her legs were intertwined with Sebastian's as he was spooning her from behind, lying horizontally. He was checking his phone for updates, his empty coffee cup kept on the table, still in his sweats. His free hand was mindlessly tracing patterns on Lorraine's exposed shoulder. She smiled secretly, feeling the warmth of his body melt on her back. She'd admit it, she didn't know what they were doing. Truth be told, she didn't want to. She didn't want to put a stupid name on it. She didn't want to know Sebastian's feelings in specific words nor did she want to define he own feelings. She just wanted it to last as long as it was fun.Realising Sebastian had been a little too long over the phone, she turned her head 180° t
