“So, she did come after all huh?” Diana asked as she walked past the circle, examining the ingredients and finally stopped in front of me. she held her hand out for me which I took willingly and stood on my feet.
I nodded as the answer to her previous question and she hummed, look lost in her thoughts.
“Don’t worry about him. he will be alright. Hecate won’t kill him. In fact, that will be easier for him then.” She said and I narrowed my eyes.
“He knows what he was gotten himself into. You can’t save him.” she said and raised her hands in defence. She knows I know she cared for him too but she didn’t want to show it. We are in a huge mess and nothing can be straightened out if don’t wrap our minds around the single task we have on our hands now.
“Where is August?” I asked fearing if she also made some shady deal with some goddess
