Chapter - 36 The Abyss...
Post lunch there still lingered an uncomfortable silence. After the servants cleared up the chambers Samudra closed the door and locked it.
He turned on and stood there silently watching her. Tanisi looked extremely perturbed. She slowly steeled herself and said, "Your highness, I have taken back my words. Please let me go."
She didn't look at him while saying this. Samudra slowly walked to her. She became finicky. She wasn't sure of what the emperor was going to do next.
