Chapter - 50 The Traitor amongst
Soon Prapta dug information out from the woman and got to know that Manorama was actually a Kaingitya spy and she had informed them about Tanisi's whereabouts. She had spoken to Padma and found out the person they were looking for was Tanisi.
Manorama was captured. She was already old but to ensure that the identity of Tanisi remains hidden, Samudra ordered her to be lodged in the solitary dungeon. This information was kept under wraps. People outside only got to know that there was a traitor amongst them and that she had been the reason for the attacks that happened.
Meanwhile, Tanisi was near the river washing clothes when Bhavabhooti came to her. He knelt down beside her and initiated a conversation. Tanisi knew of his interest in her. She didn't respond to his queries and gave short, ambiguous answers. Seeing that she wasn't willing to talk to him, Bhavabhooti tried another tactic to make her speak.
