Chapter 128: Tension 2

"Mom," Jayden called out to a woman who was backing us.

The woman dumped the bag in her hand and turned to us, "My daughter?"

"Ma?"

Oh God damnit! Hart's mother was Jayden's mother too? What was going on?

"Are you sure that this is your real mother?" I whispered into his ears as Hart's mother began to approach me.

"My dear," She took my hand and I shivered because it felt as though the world was turning upside down.

She dropped her arm around my shoulder, "Are you surprise?" She asked me. I was already dead, I felt lifeless, Hart was the only son of his parents they said, how then was Jayden that woman's son?

"I'm not, I am,"

"Admit it, my daughter," She knew we both had secrets and she knew full well that I wouldn't speak up in Jayden's presence.

She knew about Jason and I regretted it, I should not have told her about him but then she asked on her own.

"What's going on here?"
