"The search team has returned," Oscar informed me.

"Bring them in."

Two men walked in wearing long faces. Another two followed.

"Any positive report?" They shook their heads. "No, sir but we promise to keep searching."

"How many times have you people been to the park?"

"A lot of times, it seems she's staying away from the park."

I nodded and hawked. "Take some rest you all, resume searching tomorrow."

As soon as they walked out, a maid came in to inform me about my mother's visit.

It was the first time visiting after the news began to spread and I knew she was coming to vent out on me.
