Chapter 87

Days had passed and Dain still hadn’t brought up the festival of Night and Day. Part of me felt smug, because clearly, he was learning I hated being told what to do. Especially by cocky, infuriating, and down right tempting Alpha King’s. An even smaller part of me hoped he was considering going, finally showing his face after keeping it hidden for so long.

From morning until afternoon, I threw myself into my training with Apollo. Per his suggestion, I started off small. It was ridiculous, the headaches I would get as I stared at the splintered oak door, trying to will it shut. The other half of my training was spent staring at the dusty books that lined the walls.

Closing the door, making a book’s pages turn, even bolting the lock—it felt frustratingly impossible.

Rachel is a problem to herself!! She says she won't do something, then turns around and does the opposite!! It truly is aggravating!! The author has already pointed at the fact that Nadia will use everything and anyone to get to Rachel, including Aiden!! So IMO, the next visit will be Nadia!!

She doesn’t have to let aiden go. She just has to give it time. When they figure out how to get rid of Nadia for good. Then she can find a friendship with aiden again. Right now it’s not safe and worth it.
