Mixed Emotions

Iris Pov.

Once again I felt the sicking atmosphere of the hospital office in which I was seated. It felt as if the chairs in the doctor’s office had spikes in them because I felt extremely uncomfortable sitting in them and could not wait to take my leave.

Weird silence filled the four corners of the hospital office once again, I could feel the doctor's eyes all around me and Arthur’s hands still entangled with mine.

I sat quietly, still trying to comprehend all that had happened earlier with Arthur.

The mixed emotions Arthur showered on me caused me to question my reasoning faculty. I tried to wrap my head around different ideas, suggestions, and behaviors Arthur signaled to me.

Initially, he brought me to this goddamn hospital without my approval and then he scolded me and remained me in my state of captivity; How I was supposed to obey him and his meaningless opinions were to him because his decisions were final.
