Chapter 39: Axel and Jace is not the same

Jace POV

"Sir, I think I have had enough from him. He doesn't want me here, so can you grant his wish please?" Mason suddenly speaks up. "Yeah right. He would rather leave than tell me the truth I want to hear. So much for a best buddy" I said and he only looked at me but said nothing.

"Mason you all know that Jace is the one to decide whether you leave or stay. Although your father is my protector, the family rule is still the family rule" My dad said. "Dad, why are you hesitating? If you don't want to do what I asked immediately I will have to take matters into my own hands. Don't forget I'm the CEO now and I have every right to make every decision in the family. I only called you and asked you to do that because I will have to return to the main family mansion to do the switching and I can't afford to come back now" I reminded my dad whilst indirectly reminding Mason of the amount of authority I held over everyone including all the protectors as our closeness makes him to easily f
