Standing between one of the shelves, my eyes scanned through the textbooks arranged neatly on each row of shelves.

I was looking for a statistics textbook to borrow from the library and then go home immediately since it was closing hours.

Squinting, my gaze, I searched through the textbooks in the business section when I felt an arm wrapped around my waist suddenly and twirling me around.

A slight gasp escaped my lips, my eyes widened almost bulging out of their eye sockets, and my heart beating t before my gaze fell and rested on Kayden's appearance, and a rush of relief ran through me.

“What are you doing here?” I asked him in a hushed, low voice, glancing around and hoping no one was nearby to see me and him together.

Kayden smiled softly at me, releasing one of his arms around my waist and bringing them up to the side of my face.

I swallowed hard staring at him, when he didn't reply, my instinct immediately told me to move away from him which I did, but he pulled me closer to him,
