"Do you have any ideas?" Caisen asked, seeing the expression on Cathy's face.

Cathy shook her head. "I remember smelling those sweet macaroons before, but I can't remember where or who I smelled them from." He bit his lower lip. "Where did I smell that... who..."

Cathy thought.

Cathy's fist clenched. Caisen couldn't remember, but he felt that he had smelled such pheromones. He also couldn't remember where or from whom he smelled it.

"It was weird," Caisen thought, not noticing Cathy's look.

"Weird?"

Caisen hid. "Like you, I feel like I've smelled it too, but like you said, I can't remember either." He scratched. "No, it's not that I don't remember it. It was intentionally blocked." Caisen's face darkened, and his head was pulled out. He looked at Cathy. "Cathy, I need to--"

"Go," Cathy said, and she didn't let Caisen finish what he had to say. He smiled, looking into the eyes of his alpha, and then he reached for his face. "You have to report this, right? Go. I'll wait for you here,"
