18-Nightmare

The next day, after my classes were over, I went to Rachel's house to take care of Mel. She let me in and I spotted Mel, as soon as she saw me, she jumped in my arms and hugged me.

"I missed you."

"I miss you too, little one." I smiled.

"I don't like the new girl my brother is dating." She whispered.

"Same." I whispered back.

"What are you doing here?" I turned to see Raven.

"Your mom asked to babysit, Mel. If you have a problem, talk to her." I replied.

"Krista, will be here in a bit, don't bother us."

"Why would I, I'm here for Mel, you big doofus." I rolled my eyes.

He furrowed his brows. "Doofus?" He mumbled.

Maybe that will help him regain his memories, anything to get back my Raven.

"Big doofus." Mel, giggled.

"Mel, don't repeat her words." He sighed.

"It's not a bad word, chill." I added.

The doorbell rang and he went to open it. I searched for the little mermaid, since that's Mel's, favorite movie.

"Thank you." She smiled.

"Welcome."
