When I woke up the next morning, Max was already gone to work. The time was almost 7:30.

I wondered if he trusted me that much to leave me at his apartment all alone. He barely knew me.

I immediately checked my phone, and I had two missed calls from him from yesterday. He did call as he said, I was working at the time and didn't even hear my phone ring.

Max: Make yourself at home. Taxi's services number are on the fridge.
