Chapter 36: Jack's Jazz...Wrong Reason; Right One

Jason stood looking out the window. The sun was setting behind the tree lines. He looked at the two adults trying to clean the place a bit for the approaching night. He was very worried about that guy with the monster truck.

“Jack, go talk with him,” Jazz whispered stilling his busy hands. He nods his head then went and stood beside his brother. He softly placed his hand on his shoulder. Together they stood watching the sun.

“I am scared Jack,” he said at last but kept his eyes fixed outside.

“You want to talk about it?”

“I think my dad is looking for us.”

“Why you say that?”

“All kinds of people work for him. He likes monster trucks. We went there for my birthday.”

“You think that guy remembered you somewhere then?”

“Yes,”

“Okay, well I will make sure we stay out of his way Jason.”

“Jack, he will kill us.”

“Don’t worry Jason, I know this isn’t easy but we will find a way. Mom always said there is a way for everything. We just need to believe.”

“I know.” He looked up into Jack’s face.
