Chapter 64: Jack's Jazz...Wrong Reason; Right One

Jazz slowly opened her eyes. She felt a heavy arm wrapped around her frame. She frowned, puzzled about what’s going on. After a couple of deep breathes she turned her head slightly. A slow smile played around her mouth when she realized it was Jack. She settled her heart just lying there thinking.

In vivid clarity she recalls the happenings of yesterday. The final conclusion when Jack woke her once the doctor placed her leg in a tight wrap around her ankle instead of a cast. She slowly snuggled deeper into his body and closed her eyes. It has been a while since she really slept properly.

Jack kept his eyes closed but he was awake and aware of her quiet movements. He needs to get up but it was very comfortable with her in his arms. She grinned secretly wondering when she will become aware of his body reacting to her presence.

Jack Warren and his Jazz slept the morning away.

“Jack,” Jazz slowly woke. This time she was alone in bed. She slowly sits up against the pillows. She was alone.
