Melinda and I woke early, showered and changed. We ate breakfast, though Melinda didn't eat much. As soon as Stella came into the room, Melinda hugged her hard. I hugged Stella, too and asked if she was okay. Stella is resilient, and with Michael by her side, I knew she'd be fine.
