Alessia’s POV

Breakfast was finished, and the gang went to the office. I wanted to stand up, but Johnny kept me tightly on his lap.

"Johnny!" I whispered yell at him.

"Before we go to the office, there's something I have to tell you," he said, looking me in the eye.

"What?"

"Alessia, when I talked to Mason, I found out both of your parents are being held captive by Lorenzo and Francesca."

"What do you mean both my parents? I know Lorenzo isn't my father, but she's my mother, isn't she?" I asked with a frown.

"No, we have reason to believe that Lorenzo and Francisca took you as a baby, and she pretended to be your mother. We will find out everything soon, I promise," he whispered in my ear.

He pulled me off his lap and fixed his shirt. He looked at me, and I followed him to his office.
