No one expected Lovelyn to go crazy like that. The idea of Hailey leaving her must have really shook her a lot. Perhaps, she hadn’t expected Hailey not to fall for her lies of being sick.

“So you do not care about your sick mother?!” Lovelyn asked in rage. “If I were truly sick, you wouldn’t have sympathized with me, would you?”
