David’s POV

Andrei and I make it back to the mansion after he dumped the mafia’s byki in a river where no one can trace him.

The mother fucker deserves to die without a respectable funeral. He came at my girl and so he didn’t deserve my mercy.

I can really play cool when it comes to other things but I become brutal and a beast when it has to do with Vera.

And since these mafias have found out about my precious girl, that dark side of me is definitely going to surface.

To protect Vera would mean to spill blood and I’m willing to do that. A life for blood.

I stalk into the house filled with silence. Irene isn’t around here which means she has gone home.

My personal driver comes forward to inform me he brought Vera home safely and that makes me relax.
