Vera’s POV

I wasn’t aware William could be this funny and cool to be around. Well, since he came here I’ve laughing my guts out because of his jokes.

I said thanks to his words earlier and I offered him a drink.

“Coffee will be fine.” He had said and I went into the kitchen to whip up one for him.

“Sometimes I like my coffee plain. Just plain instant coffee.” He told him while trotting into the kitchen behind me.

I smiled at his words and looked him over my shoulder when I said.

“So that means, tonight’s own won’t be bland?”

“Nah, not when I’m with a beautiful lady like you.”

Oh, he really is flirting. I only smiled at his words as I went over to the kitchen, putting the coffee machine at work.

In a short time, I had everything set for him and he followed me to the living room, still cracking his endless jokes to which I smiled and laughed out loud when it was too funny.

I offered him some quesadilla pastry. Thank God my housekeeper made those before leaving tonight.
