Thirty Three

Melody's POV:

I felt sunlight shining in my eyes making me open them. For a single moment, it felt like everything was spinning as I opened my eyes.

I blinked them several times before I could finally make out the room I was in. It was my room.

That wasn't the problem. The problem was my head, which was burning inside like it was on fire. I slowly sat up clutching my head. My head felt like it was a burning mess, like my brain had turned into jelly.

Pulling my hair away from my face, I saw a paper on the side table with a glass of water. I looked at it for a while with a frown before picking it up.

" I didn't left regretting anything that happened last night, if that's what you're thinking. I just had some things to do. Take the aspirin and the headache would be fine. I'll see you soon, angel."

I looked at the words for a while before blowing out a small sigh.

How did he know I was thinking that?

I took the glass of water and gulped down the aspirin.
