Chapter 26: Pretend Thing

It was Monday morning and time to face my boss. I knew I was guilty. I had to face him even though I didn’t know how to act in front of him now.

I cleaned his office even though it was clean. I wiped his desk and arranged the paperwork. I also rearranged his bookshelf.

After I fixed his office I went out. It was time to clean my table too. After I cleaned up I went to the coffee maker and made my own coffee. I would have done Brad too but I changed my mind because he might be late today.

I sat at my table then I turned on my computer. I scanned his schedules and meetings for that day so that if he asked me later I would have an answer right away. Then I proceeded to my unfinished works last Friday because he sent me home early that day.
