CHAPTER 16: Meeting her DEMON

He was startled. The way she screamed ached his heart. He couldn't fathom whether this broken state of her pierced his heart or hearing another man's name from her lips hurt him more.

He held her in his arms and hugged her, and she clutched his shirt tightly and rested her head on his chest. He slowly caressed her hair and sat beside her on the bed. He held her in his embrace. He squeezed her slightly and comforted her.
