Not! Just not now! Please! Kit exclaimed as the engine suddenly sneezed, snorted, and the SUV came to a stop in the middle of the road. She hadn't driven too far from the lighthouse, and there weren't any buildings on the horizon yet. No fucking villages!

Turning the key, listening to the intermittent sneezing of the engine as it struggled to start over and over again, she decided that she had indeed run out of luck for the day. However, there was no time to be sad about this. She grabbed the cleaver from the seat, pulled the keys out of the lock, threw them away from the road and ran forward, occasionally looking back. It seemed to her that Harry had managed to break the second door too, and now he was chasing her to kill her. A body twisted in the refrigerator stood in front of his eyes, urging him to run as quickly as possible. She could have sworn she could feel the psychopath's hot breath on the back of her neck.
