"I don't really know what to say to that." I looked down and took a small bite of my ice cream. He stood up and walked back to the counter. Was it because I didn't flirt back like all the other sluts from school? He walked behind the counter and got a scoop of ice cream for himself. He came back and threw out Alex's, to resume sitting with me while eating his ice cream.

"Sorry, I really liked the way that ice cream looked." I fake gasped and hit his arm playfully.

"Hey." I laughed.

"What?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Why did you hit me?" He looked hurt, and he held his arm. I laughed at how bad of an actor he was.

"You are a really bad actor. Do you know that?" He dropped his other hand from his 'hurt' arm and laughed too. It was a genuine laugh, one I had only seen a glance of one before coming from his perfect lips.
