Aurora's POV

My head snapped to the door as soon as I heard the knob twisting. It was one in the morning and Kaizen was just coming back.

It was a surprise that I hadn't died of worry while waiting for him to come back, hoping nothing had happened to him. They'd been out for seven hours. I had insisted on going out of the house when they were taking too long to get out, but Gianna and Scarlett had stopped me. Now that I think of it, it wasn't a really wise decision.

My eyes widened as soon as Kaizen entered the room. A gasp escaped my lips as soon as I took in the state of his body. His entire body was soaked with blood and his face looks dangerous with cuts literally on every part of his body.

I immediately ran to him thinking he was injured but he stopped me midway. “Relax, it's not mine.” He grunted out, pushing past me as he walked towards the bathroom.
