Chapter 12

Sandra's POV

Next morning I went for a run which I had been skipping for the past two days. After that I carried the bag on my back, came out of the room and went to the kitchen for a light breakfast.

"Good Morning Aunt Lucy."

I greeted Aunt Lucy with a smile.

"Good morning darling"

I noticed something about Aunt Lucy's behavior in the past few days. Whenever she is worried about something or there is something on her mind, she would call me "darling", in normal talks she would call me "dear" and when she is angry she would call me "Veronica".

"What happened Aunt Lucy?"

She sighed.

"You haven't even moved yet and I already started missing you. I am gonna miss you. A lot."

I smiled.

"I am just moving to the building next door. I will visit you regularly and you can also visit me whenever you want. What? Is it not allowed?"

"Yeah. We can visit each other."

But she still looked depressed. So, I gave her a tight hug. Aunt Lucy froze at first but soon returned the hug.
