Chapter 24

When she returned home after a week-long trip with Sana and her family, she was feeling very well. She spent half a day recounting the trip to dad. When he left the office, she was bored again and then she remembered the envelope which she had carelessly put in the bag.

"It simply came to our notice then. She got up and after a long struggle she finally got the envelope. 

"What was it that Alian couldn't tell me on the phone?" She was surprised to see the envelope.

"Looks like I'm going to read some very important evidence." She grunted. "That will change my life."

As soon as the envelope was opened, a chit fell into her lap.

"Hold your breath and count to a hundred before reading this."

Anahita laughed. "I didn't know which adventurer was riding on Alian's head at that time."

She stopped breathing and started counting. Once or twice, the breath would break in the middle. On the fourth attempt, she managed to count to a hundred.
