She had run away to her palace, sneaking from everyone, she moved towards the royal kitchen at the back of the palace residence.

There was darkness and silence everywhere, surely at that hour of the night, all the rabbits were enjoying their dreams and the only one who was awake at night had come to get food for his new companion.

If she wanted, she would have gone to the garden and asked for fruit from the trees, which they would have bent their branches in front of her, but she wanted to take good and tasty food for him.

In the royal kitchen, she saw a pile of royal food lying on huge tables in pots covered with cloth.

She picked up a big silver tray and placed it on the table and she herself climbed on the high and long table and crawled on her knees and picked up the cloth from every dish.

With one hand, the tray was also being filled by sliding it forward.

A large portion of dark brown, well-made slightly hard bread was taken and placed in the tray.
