Chapter 82

As the shadow of the evening deepened, the cave became dark. There were large lanterns in Alian's luggage, upon his telling, the old man picked up one and lit it. The cave was filled with light and warmth. Alian calmed down.

"How did you continue to treat without light?" He looked at the old man with suspicious eyes, and then the old man smiled while combing some of his bags with trembling hands.

"Treating and eating in daylight. Finish and sleep before the darkness of the night. Cave life is easy and simple. Don't put too much pressure on your brain, boy. Know this, you will return to your feet.”

He shook his head contentedly while taking out some saffron from the bag. He made a face and turned to see his bed. A very rotten bed that was cracked in places.

He looked at his bed with shame, whose softness and warmth were unmatched.

Now he used to sit up without moving his legs. Then he got up and leaned towards his belongings lying nearby and pulled the new extra bed towards him.
