Aria's perspective
“Aria, I’m here,” Silas announced from the door, I was putting on my earrings, and I was already done dressing up. I wore an evening dress with a strap hand and a flat shoe.“I will be out in a second!” I yelled from the inside, fixed my bracelet on my wrist and packed my hair.I glanced at the mirror, and smiled, satisfied with my looks.I walked to the door and opened it. Silas was standing outside with his hands in his pocket. He waved at me and dropped his hands awkwardly. He did everything to avoid meeting my gaze.“We should leave, I have gotten the car ready.” He cleared his throat, I nodded and followed him out. The guards at the door bowed at Silas, they opened the front door and Silas stepped out. They lowered their head when they saw me behind him, I’d wonder if they ever talked, I have never heard them say a word.“Don’t they talk?” I asked Silas when wNeon's perspectiveOur hands were intertwined as we walked towards where I kept a mattress for us to sit, I brought dinner as well. I asked Silas to order them because I didn’t have enough time to prepare them when I left the office, I was already running late.Aria looked so beautiful, and she accepted to be my Luna. I couldn’t change that she’s human, the only thing I could do was protect her.Silas was right when he said I should decide on what to do, I can’t reject her or send her away from me.I want Aria close to me. I don’t think I would be able to live without her.“This is so beautiful, Neon.” We stood in front of the mattress and I held both hands.“Not as beautiful as you,” I responded. Her cheeks turned red, I let my fingers graze on her cheeks and smiled.“Let’s eat.” I made a gesture for us to sit.“So is it true that the Moon Goddess lives here?”
Aria's perspective I took to my heels the moment Neon said I should run. I couldn’t run faster with my shoes so I took them off, and continued running. I glanced back if Neon was behind me, but he was, and there was a large black wolf with red eyes behind me. I screamed and ran as if my life depended on it. I had no idea where I was heading too, I just ran and was too scared to look back. My feet kicked against a tree with a branch on the ground, my eyes didn’t catch it on time, and my feet had already had contact with it before I noticed. I fell face down on the ground, I groaned and tried to lift myself but it pounced in front of me. “Ahh!” I shouted, and his sharp teeth ripped some parts of my dress. I tried to run but my leg was stuck on the branch. My heartbeat skyrocketed in my chest. There was no way I could escape him. He was about to bite my arm, and my eyes were shut hoping for the worst while I secretly prayed for Neon to come to my rescue. He bit my arm, and I let
Aria's perspectiveNeon carried me from the car to the bedroom in his arms. He dropped me on the bed and grabbed his phone from the table. He turned his back to me, with the phone pressed against his ear. “Call the pack doctor, he has to be here in the next minute. He shouldn’t keep me waiting!” He growled on the phone.I helped myself to sit up on the bed, a hand wrapped around the wounded arm. “Won’t I get infected? Will I turn into a werewolf?” I blurt out my fears.Neon turned whilst holding the phone, and he placed a hand on the speakers.“You’ll be fine honey, the bite won’t turn you into a werewolf.” He tried to smile and assured me that I was gonna be fine, but he failed to do it. I couldn’t tell he was worried.“Hello, give the pack doctor the phone, he isn’t close? Then tell him to hurry to my mansion immediately, I will give him a
Neon's perspectiveI watched Aria sleep, and couldn’t stop blaming myself for what happened. I wanted to take her out of the house and this happened. What happened to the security in the pack? What has Silas been doing? How were they able to find us?It was just a few of the guards that were aware of our date tonight. And Aria got hurt, the thoughts hurt me more than anything.I untangled myself from her in the early hours of the morning, I couldn’t sleep at night, and I was bothered by my thoughts and my suspicions.I have to speak to Silas when he comes, and my Gemma as well. We need to have a meeting and see if my suspicions are right.I headed out of the room to the study room and sat on my desk, I switched the lights on.I went through the map of my pack, checking the borders if there was something I was missing, that I hadn’t figured out yet.The door opened slowly after a
Neon's perspectiveAria’s legs were wrapped around my torso, as I took her out of the study room to the bedroom.I placed her on the bed and took off my shirt, and she lay there watching me with those seductive eyes that I couldn’t resist. She wants me just as I want her.I took off my pants and climbed back on the bed and set myself above her.Slowly, I let my hands work on her gown, taking them off her body gently while my fingers linger on her skin. She gasped as it caressed, and her gown came off her body.“No panties, baby girl,” I smirked. She chuckled shyly, and I tossed her gown aside. I leaned closer and claimed her lips softly with mine, she opened up and reciprocated the kiss with the same tendency.I fucking love her.My hands roamed her body while I kissed her, and placed her legs on my back. She moaned into my mouth, and it drove me
Neon's perspectiveI was eating with Aria in the dining room when Silas came with Gemma.I had forgotten that they should have been here sooner but they came late.Aria asked them to join us, and they respectfully declined and went to study to wait for me.“You have a meeting with Silas?” She asked looking up from her plate.“Yes, we have a meeting.”She nodded and took her gaze back to her meal.“We’ve to get those rogues who did this to you.” I grounded my teeth and drank from my juice.Aria was done eating, and I carried her to the room, made sure she took her drugs, and allowed her to have some rest.I promised to join her later when after the meeting with Silas and she agreed. I kissed her forehead and left.I went into the study and Silas and my Gemma stood up when I entered.“Alpha.” They greeted with their he
Aria's perspectiveI stretched my arms when I woke up. My body felt sore as if I had slept for a century. I glanced around the bed, and Neon wasn’t there. He said he was gonna join me in the bed after I had taken my drugs but he wasn’t there, I wasn’t even sure he came back to the room after he left me.I untangled my body from the covers and yawned. My eyes caught the clock on the wall. It was past five. I pushed the curtains on the window aside, and watched the yellow light fading out of the clouds.I took in a deep breath limped out of the room, and decided to get a warm bath. I soaked myself in the bathing tube and played a song on my phone. It was my favorite song by Sza.I moved my head slowly and stayed in the bathroom for a long time.I came out after a couple of minutes with Neon’s robe and a towel on my head. I opened Neon’s drawer to take out a lotion, and my hand to
Aria's perspective“Do I have to be a werewolf?” I mumbled. She chuckled softly and folded her arms on her chest. She stared at me as if she wanted to read my thoughts.“How do you expect to lead a pack of werewolves when you’re human?” She asked amusingly.“I thought it could work.” My voice came out faintly.“Don’t be silly. Aria, think about it, we are werewolves, you’re just human. You’re different from us, werewolves like us can’t go to your city and become president of the states and that’s how it works here too.” She rolled her eyes.I pouted my lips. Neon told me he has an estate business in New York, and he’s influence in New York. He’s a werewolf but he was able to do all that.“Can they tell?”“We can easily sense that you’re human. It’s like a bad omen.”
