"I just ordered a $5 fish and chips and you're probably eating a $100 meal, no way I'm paying for you," said Theo jokingly.

"Hey!" Grace exclaimed as she smacked his arm. "It's actually just $89, okay?"

"Fine, fine," Theo laughed. Soon his food arrived and they ate and laughed for a long time until it was time to go back.

The restaurant was about to close already, with just a couple of tables occupied, but neither Theo nor Grace wanted to go back. They knew it was too soon to go to each other's home already, and they were fighting the impulse to kiss and get somewhere private.

Grace looked around the restaurant awkwardly and said, "It's getting empty, haha."

"Yeah, it is," said Theo. He was unfazed by it all. He kept looking at Grace lovingly and smiled when he caught her eye.

Grace couldn't handle the tension anymore, so she got up and decided to make it known to him that it was time to leave. Theo got up with her and walked out together.
