This was Margot's first time receiving a piggyback from Curtis. She was extremely pleased. She pretended to be clueless as she replied, "What do you mean by fulfilling my promise?"

"Stop playing dumb. Believe it or not, I'll throw you into that pond over there and feed you to the fish."

She stuck her tongue out. "I'm not scared," she retorted.

Curtis was pissed. He started walking toward the direction of the pond while carrying her. The further they went, the darker their surroundings became.

Finally, Margot was afraid. She worried that he might actually leave her there. In a haste, she leaned into his ear and whispered, "Stop! Let's go home now."

Curtis was prepared to throw her off. She clung tightly to his neck instead, refusing to let go. Coquettishly, she called out to him, "Darling."
