He woke up alone, the shape of her head still on her pillow. She woke up before him, coffee and breakfast Waited for on the kitchen island. sat with a book on her lap oblivious of his presence. For once her shadow, buddy didn't alert her of his presence, the dog had warmed towards him. He liked what he saw, her wrapped in a blanket with her hair up and her face relaxed.

As he watched her from across the room, he couldn't help but feel a sense of overwhelming affection. Her every move was like poetry in motion, and he found himself entranced by her every gesture. The way her hair fell in delicate strands around her face, the soft curve of her lips as she read her book, the gentle rise and fall of her chest as she breathed.

He had never felt such a deep connection with anyone before, and as he gazed at her, he knew that he would do anything to make her happy. She was his everything, the missing piece of his heart that he had been searching for all these years.
