YOUNG ALPHA LEDGER.

“Are you sure you want to do this now?” I stared at the female before me. I knew this was for the best, but I wanted her to have the last say.

She nodded her head, and when I met her chosen mate’s eyes, I knew it was now or never.

And so I did it.

I rejected the female standing in front of me. I defied the Goddess. But who would not? I spent my whole life attracted to one female, and the thought of leaving her for a stranger seemed wrong. Plus, the fact that the fated mate she gave me already belonged to someone and was carrying his pup only solidified my decision to sever this bond.

I would never break a family, nor would I break Giselle’s heart.

I cleared my throat and blinked back the tears as the memory floated in my head like it was just yesterday, but the rejection happened two weeks ago.

I saw Sabrina in
