At Brundeen's group

"let's go in" Henry stretched out his hands for Abigail to take, he acted in a chivalrous manner and it made her heart flutter, she felt like she was with a high school sweetheart.

She took his hand in hers, their fingers entwining as they walked side by side into the office building.

The women in the office watched with wide eyes as Abigail and their boss walked through the door, their hands clasped together.

Most of the young ladies felt a flash of jealousy and envy as they watched Abigail and their boss walk by. They had heard the rumors, and seeing them together like that seemed to confirm their suspicions.

"The sly slut has seduced their boss, no wonder she was able to get the position as his personal assistant."

"She probably used her body to get the spot."

As Abigail made walked by, she could hear the hushed whispers of the women around her. Their words were full of bitter resentment. It made her angry but she decided to ignore their hars
