Kera went out of her room, wearing a black veil over her head.

"If I'm being asked of, tell them I want privacy, including the Verin" she told the guard that stood at the door after chasing the gossiping people.

The guard bowed and she walks out.

Kera snuck out of the palace like a thief in the night, trying not to be discovered.

She headed towards the stable and grabbed her horse and with that, she rode away from the palace. To where no one knows.

The next morning, Nayla escorted Bella to her home.

She was asked to get some rest by the physician but she stubbornly protested.

She just couldn't let Bella go without being a good friend and giving her a good send off. Besides, Bella now being mature and strong like she had wanted deserves more than just a send off.

Nayla came back to the palace, and met a raged Verin waiting for her in her room.
