"Soo, how was your trip?" Gloria asked Christiana as she typed away.

"It was good; Mauritius is beautiful," she said with a smile.

"Good, now we are going to Erin Ijesha Waterfall soon. I don't have money to ball like you, so we will settle for that," Gloria said, making Christiana laugh.

"No wahala, let me know anytime," she responded, and Gloria nodded, handing a sausage roll and a drink.

"So, if I didn't say I will go... yeah, you wouldn't have gotten that," Tiana said, and Gloria completed. Tiana chuckled, shaking her head.

"Thank you," Tiana said as Gloria left.

Christiana's plane had landed in Nigeria around 1 am, and she spent another 2 hours coming back to Ibadan. She was exhausted and stressed because she kept calling James, and he still wasn't answering.

This was the longest they hadn't talked, and she planned on fixing that after work.

"Why?" Christiana asked herself, feeling tears welling up in her eyes while reading the report she was meant to write.
