Chapter 26

I came out of the room wearing a brown long sleeve sweater to cover my cut on the wrist, and black shorts. No matter how much I wanted to disappear and give up, I couldn’t. What if I still have a family? What if they are looking for me? How did I get here?

I stayed at home for a few days, I rarely left the room but I never forgot daddy's medicine.

How much more I want to know, see and get to know. I still have a lot to do. I realized all that when I almost fainted the other day while losing blood.

There was no one in the living room and I knew dad and I were in the room now. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the kitchen to eat.
