Heartbroken/ You'll Always Be Mine

"So,..... what does it say?" Brie asked. She was just as nervous as I was, maybe more.

My heart palpitated incredibly fast. I felt my heart would jump out my chest. Hands shaking, breath caught in my throat.

I glanced at the three different brands of pregnancy strips she had just taken. She asked me to view them, she was just too frightened to do it herself.

I sat on top of the toilet. She sat on my lap, facing the opposite way from the pregnancy tests, her hands covering her face.

I had my hands wrapped around her waist. I kissed her shoulder, as I tilted towards the tests and nervously grabbed one of them.

" I don't..... I don't know.... what does the box say? It has two lines. What does that mean?" I asked. "Which one did you grabb?" She asked.

"Umh.... the one with the pink top." I said.
