"Is he your boyfriend?" Lana's sister, Layla, asked and I laid on the floor.

"No. We're just-"

"Friends." Mia finished, rolling her eyes playfully and I nodded.

"Exactly." I said and Piper laughed.

"Yeah, sure." She said sarcastically and I looked back at the screen.

"My friends don't look at me like that." Layla said and I groaned.

"He looks at everyone the same way." I told her for the last time and she breathed a laugh.

"If blindness got you there then, I guess it works." She said, dipping her hand into the popcorn bowl and I shut my eyes.

It had been an hour and Landon was still asleep in my bedroom. Every time I tried getting up, his eyes opened and he reminded me of a baby.
