Chapter 40. Dinner

“Put on your seatbelt, or do you want me to do it?” Leo's open words made Aini hastily pull the seat belt beside him.

Just being in the same car as Leo made him feel uncomfortable at all, and now he had to be treated like one. Of course, Aini felt that her day was terrible. Her mind kept going back and forth about what happened to Dave during the day; why couldn't she forget about it? He didn't need that kind of thinking at all. The more he thinks about it, the more burden he will have. In fact, just every day is too confusing.

“Are you ready, honey?” Leo, without hesitation, stroked Aini's head, like the two of them were indeed a couple.

“Don't touch me,” said Aini sharply. His action made Leo chuckle quite loudly, like he was pleased with the reaction he was giving.

“Calm down. "Do you want people in your father's office to take a bad look at him and cancel the partnership they had agreed to?”
