Chapter 78. Approach of the Heart

“Aini, dinner!” cried Hendramo, who had just returned. He pounded on Aini's door. However, the child did not come out. The wrinkles on Hendramo's forehead increased; he tried to open the door to his son's room only to find it locked. Hendramo struggled again to knock on the door until finally Aini woke up.

"Yes?" he answered in a hoarse voice. Hendramo, who saw that Aini had woken up, looked annoyed. "Sorry, I overslept."

Hendramo didn't say anything and immediately went to the dining table. "Quickly come to the dining table; food is ready."

Aini immediately nodded her head; it didn't matter if Hendramo didn't see her. She immediately ran to follow Hendramo, who took big steps because of a confused feeling. Aini could only bite her lower lip with her heart beating very fast. Many questions swirled in his head until he felt confused about where to start. However, the most troubling question is the reason why.
