CHAPTER 4

"Ladies and gentlemen, let's welcome Mr and Mrs Marcus Navarro to the dancefloor!"

Cheers and applauds were all around them as they made their way to the dancefloor. They had done it, they had tied the knot.

"Do you like the dress?" Diana asked her new husband as they danced to one of her favorite song, Snowman by Sia.

"Do you like the dress?" Marcus asked back.

Diana shrugged. "It's alright."

"Just alright?" Marcus twirled her. "That dress cost me a lot of money!"

"So? It's not like you can't afford it, Mr Billionaire." She added teasingly.

But even Diana had to admit Marcus and his team had practically performed miracles for her 'last minute' perfect wedding.

Turned out those three people in white were stylists and Diana couldn't contain her joy when Marcus had told her they were for her service.

And just like she had asked, he had given her the diamonds and the designer dress from one of the world's top brands.

So far so good, her husband wasn't all that bad.

"I have a question," Diana hooked her arms around his neck. "Now that we are married, does that make me Mrs Billionaire?"

"Why would you think that?" His voice was harsh but that didn't stop Diana from smiling at him, looking at him with adoration. Wow, she really was a good actress.

"Diana, those are just vows...."

"Vows we made before God and I don't know about you but I take that very seriously." His wife interrupted. "So I guess I'm officially a billionaire."

Marcus briefly wondered if debating on this with her was worth it, she wouldn't let it go so his best option was to stop talking about it altogether.

"You know," she started again when he remained quiet. "We also promised to love each other, forsaking all others." She whispered, licking her lips. No one who was watching them right now would doubt they truly loved each other.

Once again Marcus was taken aback by this girl. He couldn't figure her out and that bothered him but he wasn't going to let it get to him no matter how good she looked when she was sucking on her full lips.

"Diana this isn't a real marriage." He reminded her firmly.

She pressed herself against him. "I know but we could try to make the best out of it." She was looking at his lips. "Don't you think so, husband?" She asked, their lips so close together. "People are watching, you better kiss me."

Marcus didn't like taking orders from anyone, especially the spoiled brat who believed she had him wrapped around her fingers. But she was right, all eyes were on them and if he didn't kiss her, people would wonder why. After all, Diana was a beautiful girl very few men could resist.

Diana closed her eyes as Marcus leaned in, his hand on her face caressing her cheek. They had kissed once when the priest had officiated their wedding and it was so good that Diana wanted him to kiss her again.

But just as Marcus was about to kiss his wife, he looked over her shoulder and saw the last person he was expecting to see at his wedding.

His ex fiancee, Angelique Mackena.

"In our vows we said, "what's mine is yours", remember?"
