"Yeah, and I was just figuring out who I'm going to kill tonight," she said cynically, but the pelinieve took it quite literally. "Don't give me that nonsense. I've seen you, I've been seeing you together for three damn days, going here and there. I've been seeing you laugh like an idiot at everything she says, which, to me, isn't funny at all."

"She's just trying to make me feel better, Melia. Nothing more, I swear."

"I make plenty of promises too," she said with cynicism again, and Elijah rolled his eyes. "Don't roll your eyes at me," she said, walking towards him. "You have no right to do that, I should be the one doing it, and yet I don't."

"I'm telling you again, I have nothing with Helena, we're just friends."
